Pakistan lost to Bangabandhu again!

Bangladesh created history by cruising to a five-wicket win against Pakistan at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Wednesday to storm into the final of Micromax Asia Cup T20 2016.

But this victory is more than the game of cricket. In fact, the episode is rather surreal.

 

 

 

The Tigers were carrying the momentum on their side almost throughout the match from the beginning and were looking steady at 104/4 with 26 required off 16.

But by resulting in a dramatic turnaround at the crunch time of the game, Mohammad Amir almost snatched the match away from the hosts. Though out of form, Shakib Al Hasan’s stay in the middle does make a difference. But Mohammad Amir cleaned him up in the 18th over.

The fans stood up, the roar made it look like a war front when the image of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman alias ‘Bangabandhu’ appeared on the giant screen The image earlier appeared during Pakistan’s innings as well but the timing of his arrival evoked history.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was the founding leader of Bangladesh. He fought the Liberation War in 1971 against Pakistan. The revolution resulted in the independence of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh against Pakistan military who launched Operation Searchlight.

Bangabandhu became the Prime Minister of Bangladesh in 1972 but was assassinated in 1975. His daughter Sheikh Hasina is the current Prime Minister of Bangladesh, who was also present in the stadium.

This is now a popular belief among the general people of Bangladesh that their team’s historic win over Pakistan on Wednesday to win Asia Cup final berth has also brought back old memories — of freedom and independence.

Save Bangladesh from Jamaat Brutality

The man arrested for the involvement on attack at Malopara of Chanpatola village of Abhoynogor upazilla of Jessore district. Mohammad Ali who is also included in the general diary of this case, delivered a confessing statement at the Senior Judge court of Judge Shumi Ahmed on Monday.

The investigating officer, the Inspector (investigation) of Abhoynogor, Mr. Mohshin Ali informed BD News 24.com that Mohammad Ali is one of those included in general diary of this case. He is the son of Keramat Ali of Baliadanga from Abhoynogor of Prembag Union.

He (investigating officer) also mentioned that according to Mohammad’s confession, all the involved in this incident were activists of either Jamat Shibir or BNP.

Md. Ali in his statement said that on 5 January two youths from Malopara engaged in arguments with activists of BNP-Jamat.

ামো এবং অর্থনৈতিক সচ্ছলতা। জামাতের মূল কিছু প্রতিষ্ঠান দেখেনিন ইসলামী ব্যাংক, ইসলামী ব্যাংক হাসপাতাল, মিশন গ্রুপ, ইবনে সিনা হাসপাতাল, ল্যাব, ফার্মাসিউটিকাল ও নাম না জানা আরও অনেক। এইসকল প্রতিষ্ঠানের অর্জিত অর্থের সিংহভাগই জামত-শিবিরের কর্মকাণ্ডের (কুকর্ম) পিছনে ব্যয় করা হয়। যা দিয়ে তারা বিকৃত মস্তিষ্কের শিবির কে লেলিয়ে দিয়ে উপরে বর্ণিত অরাজকতা করে দেশকে অস্থিতিশীল করে তাদের তথাকথিত নেতা- আলেমরুপী জালেম খুনী, ধর্ষক, নরপশু গুলাম আজম-নেজামী-সাইদীদের বিচার বানচাল করার অপচেষ্টা চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে।

আপনি আমি হয়ত জেনে বা না জেনে তাদের অর্থ যোগান দিয়ে যাচ্ছি। তাই সকল বিবেকবান বাংলাদেশীর উচিত এইসকল জামাত ও তার সকল ধরনের প্রতিষ্ঠান বর্জন করে চলা।

ব্রিটিশ থেকে শুরু করে একাত্তরের পাক হানাদার আমাদের কেউ দমায়ে রাখতে পারে নাই, জামাত-শিবির আর কোন ছার!

যুদ্ধাপরাধের বিচার হবে, হতেই হবে আর সকল বাধা ভেঙ্গে বাংলাদেশ মাথা তুলে দাঁড়াবেই! জয় বাংলা !!
